1. Who we are

These terms apply to courses, dives and trips offered by Success Activities S.L., trading as Chill Divers Tenerife ("we", "us"). Our full company details are at the bottom of this page.

2. Bookings and prices

Bookings are made by WhatsApp, phone, email or in person and are confirmed when we confirm them to you. Prices shown on the website are in euros per person. For longer programmes, such as the Divemaster Academy, a deposit may be required to secure your place; the amount and the date for paying the balance are agreed in writing when you book.

3. What is included

• Courses and specialty courses include the equipment needed for the training and diving insurance, as described on each course.
• VIP dives include full equipment, diving insurance and a private instructor.
• For other guided dives, equipment rental and mandatory diving insurance are €10 per day each, unless you bring your own equipment and insurance. If you dive on the same day as a package, they are not charged twice.

4. Cancellation and changes by you

• If you tell us at least 48 hours before your booking, you can reschedule free of charge or cancel and receive a refund of what you paid, apart from any deposit agreed for long programmes.
• If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not show up, we may charge the booking or keep the payment, because the instructor and equipment were reserved for you.
• Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change dates; we will always try to find a solution.

5. Cancellation or changes by us

We may cancel or change a dive or course because of weather, sea conditions, safety, or instructor availability. In that case we will offer you a new date. If we cannot offer a date that suits you, we will refund what you paid for the part that was not delivered.

6. Health, age and fitness

• Every diver must complete the PADI medical questionnaire before any course or dive and must answer honestly.
• If any answer indicates a condition, a doctor's written approval may be required before you can dive.
• Minimum ages and prerequisites for each course are shown on the website. Minors must be accompanied by, or have the written consent of, a parent or legal guardian.

7. Safety and the instructor's decisions

Safety comes first. The instructor can change the plan, shorten a dive or stop an activity at any time if they believe it is not safe. Please follow the briefing and the instructor's instructions.

8. Certification

Certifications are issued through PADI once you have completed all the required knowledge, skills and dives for the course. Taking part in a course does not guarantee a certification if the performance requirements are not met.

9. Liability

Scuba diving carries inherent risks. Before diving, participants sign the standard liability release and statement of understanding of risk. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under Spanish law, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

10. Complaints and applicable law

If you have a problem, please contact us first by email or WhatsApp; we want to resolve it. Official complaint forms are available at our dive centre on request. These terms are governed by Spanish law.
